“A Thin Red Line”

This fiery board was crafted for a Firefighter in the San Francisco Bay Area, and his wife was the driving force behind this hot creation. The board was designed with a "Thin Red Line" theme, representing unwavering support and unity with the fire service, and to honor the courage and sacrifices of firefighters.

To add a touch of flame to the design, the heart wood and sap wood were arranged to mimic the flicker of fire above the red line. The walnut used in this board had some natural voids that were filled with a dense mixture of dark wood glue and walnut sawdust, resulting in the appearance of fiery sparks. This board proves that sometimes, when you listen to the wood, it will speak to you and produce amazing results!
